Carried Away from duncmc via flickr.
The Humber Bridge, this time from the North bank (again). Despite the blustery winds blowing off the water it was easy to get carried away (by a moonlight shadow). Except it wasn’t 4am in the morning, and it was a Sunday

Ships That Pass In The Night from duncmc via flickr.
Another from my foray into Lincolnshire a couple of weeks ago. This shot of the Humber Bridge at night is taken from the South bank, upriver to the West of the bridge. The light trails of two passing ships can be seen on either side of the tower.

The distant cooling towers of Saltend power station, taken from St. Andrew’s Quay, Hull. A nice still day on the river.

The Way Home from duncmc via flickr.
It has been some time since I photographed the Humber Bridge – over eighteen months in fact. The bridge was shrouded in a light mist, giving a nice volume to the light cast by the street lamps as it spilled over the edge.

Dunstanburgh Castle from duncmc via flickr.
The view of Dunstanburg Castle from the beach at Craster in Nothumbria. One of those locations where the pictures almost take themselves.

Beyond Dark Castle from duncmc via flickr.
Tattershall Castle in Lincolnshire, or at least what’s left of it – the keep and the moat basically. A bit of an experiment – I generally avoid shooting into the sun. Blown highlights are a pet peeve but I can just about live with it on this occasion.
