First time out with the camera for quite some time. Having popped over to Goole this morning to chat about a website I took a detour down the Hook road to check out the view of the M62 / Ouse bridge.

Beyond Dark Castle from duncmc via flickr.
Tattershall Castle in Lincolnshire, or at least what’s left of it – the keep and the moat basically. A bit of an experiment – I generally avoid shooting into the sun. Blown highlights are a pet peeve but I can just about live with it on this occasion.

Life Support System from duncmc via flickr.
Lifebelt amongst the dunes at the beach near Dunstanburgh. The sun was setting which gave the clouds a nice warm pink colour against the blue sky. After much deliberation I posted the black and wite version rather than the colour – it just had that indefinable something extra.
