It was a cold and bleak on Hornsea beach when I took this back in December. It reminds me of this shot despite the differences.

A well placed groyne provided a suitable camera platform for this half-a-second exposure on Hornsea beach. A polarising filter (the rim just visible at the corners of the frame) was all I had to slow down the shutter speed to achieve the blurry foam trails left behind by the receding wash. Shame about the horizon. Maybe I’ll have a tripod with me next time.
