Above And Beyond

Above And Beyond by duncmc

Above And Beyond from duncmc via flickr.

Here’s another view of the Humber Bridge in that incredible fog last Friday morning. I had the luxury of a little more time on this one. It’s had more processing and a more judicious crop, and for me it’s a better image.

My god I am so speachless!
I’ve seen many photos of the bridge, and drove past it many times, but this by far is too spectacular!
I am fully inspired to wake up at crack of dawn and get down there haha.
    What time was it taken?

Leah, this was taken at 8.30 in the morning on my way to work. Not especially early – although it is always worth getting up for that dawn light.

Thanks again to all who have commented and faved.

Wow, great b&w, love the tones! (I think I like this version better than your excellent color version of this bridge)

A truly astonishing photo of my favourite bridge in the UK – I love the lightness of touch and feeling of joy you’ve managed to bring to it!….if you like bridges in the mist I took this one of Runcorn bridge a week or so ago but its a completely different feel from yours and not as ethereal : http://ianbramham.aminus3.com/portfolio/21.html
