What’s That Coming Over The Hill?

Hardly an original viewpoint, but it seems that access to the church yard is denied to the public most of the time which limits the options somewhat. This is Beverley Minster shot through the railings on fairly dull day – still managed to slightly over expose the sky on the right though.

An unoriginal viewpoint would have been to just point at the building and get a snap. At least you’ve thought about foreground and sky detail and that makes it so much more.

A great shot. It’s very grand.

Good angle, texture and clouds under difficult circumstances.
I cannot understand why access to the church yard is not permitted in daylight, this seems so unreasonable. I can remember trying to pan the view with my lens squeezed between the railings.

Wow,very dramatic image. I’m expecting gargoyles and dragons to come to life up there…
Is this place fenced off? What a shame.
