Wake Me Up When September Ends from duncmc via flickr.
Despite the weather I was quite happy with the way this turned out. This is one of a series from Hessle foreshore which I shot for an unsatisfactory (as it turns out) experiment with panoramic composition.

the letterboxing effect gives the feeling of being safely sheltered from the elements, possibling waiting for 3 ducks to fly past – a blank canvass waiting for life… thoughtful shot…

Love the title Dunc. It’s been a permanent September – it suits the image perfectly.
Now I can’t get the song out of my mind.

Thanks tonecoach. No ducks on this day but a terrierman was out walking his Staffy.
