A shot across Brough Haven looking west into the distant storm. This was taken on the same occasion as my previous post, but looking in the opposite direction. The play of the light on the water was captivating, constantly shifting with the cloud formations.

Great image, very painterly. Tell me more about the capturing — cameras don’t seem to record cloudbeams the way humans see them, did you have to postprocess to bring them out?

I like this one Dunc, lots going on here. I like the play between light and dark. I thought at first that it must be a combination of multiple exposures but i’m not so sure.
